Vancouver Master Chorale performs Lord Nelson Mass, Mass in Blue

The Vancouver Master Chorale’s new director, Philip Denton, will lead the 90-voice group and a 22-piece professional orchestra in “From Haydn to Basin Street,” featuring two very different versions of the Latin Mass, at 7 p.m. May 3 and 3 p.m. May 4 at the Vancouver First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main St., Vancouver. The choir will perform Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Mass in D Minor” (aka the Lord Nelson Mass) and the jazzy “Mass in Blue” by Will Todd, featuring soloist Madeline Ross.
