The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra performs at Skyview Concert Hall, 1300 N.E. 139th St. in Salmon Creek, at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 and 3 p.m. Sept. 29 to kick off its 2024/25 season. Conductor Salvador Brotons will return to the podium for his 34th season and lead the orchestra and the Spanish Brass in his own work, “Brass Quintet Concerto.” Additionally, the program will open with Howard’s “Argentum” and close with Dvořák’s “Symphony No. 8.” Both performances of this concert will also be available as a simultaneous live stream at vancouversymphony.org.
