
The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA kicks off the 2025/26 season at 7 p.m. Sept. 27 and 3 p.m. Sept. 28 at Skyview Concert Hall, 1300 N.W. 139th St. in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver. The Portland Symphonic Choir will join the orchestra for this weekend of performances, led by Conductor Salvador Brotons. Both performances will be available as a livestream at vancouversymphony.org. The program opens with five orchestral interludes from operas by Pietro Mascagni, including “Cavalleria Rusticana,” “L’amico Fritz,” “Guglielmo Ratcliff,” “Isabeau” and “Iris.” In the program’s second half, the orchestra and choir will perform Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana.” Tickets ($15-$63) are available at vancouversymphony.org or by calling 360-735-7278. Streaming-only tickets are also available, and all in-person ticket holders will have the option of viewing online.
