The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra season continues Dec. 10 and 11 with its Holiday Pops concert featuring Hollywood film scores and classic holiday gems. The orchestra will perform movie hits such as the theme from “Gladiator,” a tribute to film music legend Henry Mancini and John Williams’ legendary music from “Star Wars.” The kids will also enjoy hearing tunes from Disney hit “Frozen.” Performances are at 7 p.m. Dec. 10 and 3 p.m. Dec. 11 at Skyview Concert Hall, 1300 N.E. 139th St., Vancouver. Pre-concert talks will be held a half-hour before each in-person performance.
General admission tickets are $36. Reserved seating tickets are $48. Students are $10. Tickets are on sale now at vancouversymphony.org or by calling 360-735-7278. The symphony also offers the option of viewing the program live from home. Virtual-only tickets are available, and all in-person ticket holders will have the option of viewing virtually.
