Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s 30th Young Artist Competition

The nine finalists for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s 30th Young Artist Competition will compete for cash prizes at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main St., Vancouver. The final round of the competition is free and open to the public. Musicians will compete in three categories: piano, strings and winds/brass. Gold medal winners in each category will perform with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra on Jan. 25 and 26.
