The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra‘s Chamber Ensemble will perform Mozart’s “Gran Partita” at 7 p.m. March 8 at Joyce Garver Theater, 1500 N.E. Garfield St., Camas, and at 3 p.m. March 9 at First Presbyterian Church, 4300 Main St., Vancouver. The program will be conducted by maestro Ken Selden, Director of Orchestral Studies at Portland State University. “Gran Partita” roughly translates to “big wind symphony,” featuring 13 musicians, 12 winds and a double bass.
