Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Music Series presents “The Cameraman”

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Chamber Music Series welcomes Rodney Sauer back to Vancouver for a showing of “The Cameraman” (1928) at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., at 7 p.m. April 17, featuring live accompaniment as it would have been in the silent film theaters of the 1920s. Directed by Edward Sedgwick and Buster Keaton, the film follows the story of an aspiring cameraman and his quest to find love. Live music will be performed by Sauer and Eva Richey on violin, Dieter Ratzlaf on cello, Bruce Dunn on trumpet and Steve Bass on clarinet. Tickets ($25) are available at vancouversymphony.org.
