The Washougal Art and Music Festival is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 10 in Reflection Plaza on Main Street. The artists’ market features several dozen local artists selling their one-of-a-kind creations, including oil and acrylic paintings, pottery, fiber arts, photography, lapidary, watercolor, mixed media and jewelry. Meet the artists and learn how each piece is made. Live music will be provided from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the Washougal Songcraft Festival, featuring Jim Warford, Owen Kortz, Doug Shafer, Sunny Pache, Brenna Larsen and Oh Brother. John and Anni Furniss will sell wooden art and mixed media pieces as well as their new book, “The Blind Woodsman: One Man’s Journey to Find His Purpose on the Other Side of Darkness.” Clark County Poet Laureate Susan Dingle will host a community poetry writing project.
