Willow Harvest and Planting at Crane’s Landing

Join the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington and Columbia Land Trust from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 8 to plant a privacy hedge for the sandhill crane habitat at Crane’s Landing near Vancouver Lake. Park at Blurock Landing, 8000 N.W. Lower River Road, Vancouver. Attendees will learn about Crane’s Landing history and help with willow live stake harvesting and planting. Volunteers age 13 and older should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring snacks and water.
