Workshop: Growing Kiwifruit

Washington State University Extension Clark County Master Gardeners will host a workshop, “Grow Your Own Kiwifruit; It’s Easier than you Think,” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. March 23 at the 78th Street Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St. in the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver. Kiwi will grow in a sunny spot with a strong trellis. Master Gardeners will share tips on growing kiwi starting indoors and then moving outdoors to the kiwi demonstration site. Students should dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water. The class fee is $10.
