Learn how to create a fertilizer-free garden using home-produced compost at a free workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at Waste Connections, 9411 N.E. 94th Ave., Vancouver. Understand how to apply and time various types of compost, such as Bokashi, vermicompost, backyard bin compost, trench compost and leaf mulch.
