Northwood Public House and Brewery’s Pig Roast is 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. July 20, to coincide with Battle Ground’s Harvest Days celebration. Whole hogs are stuffed with Italian sausage and seasoned pork loins then roasted in a Mediterranean style. Kids can enjoy balloon art, face painting and a coloring contest. Hear live music with Dan Dingman from 11:30 to 1 p.m., followed from 2 to 5:30 by “King” Louis Pain and Renato Carante, later joined by Edwin Coleman and Sean Holmes to finish out the evening. Northwood Brewery will release a fresh batch of Pig Roast Pilsner. The roast pig will be serve from 11:30 a.m. until it’s gone. A pig sandwich is $14.95, a pig plate and roll is $23.50 and a pig platter (serves 3-4) is $49. Hand pies with ice cream are $10.95. Northwood’s full food and drink menu will also be available.
