Clark Public Utilities will host Race for Warmth from 8:30 a.m. to noon Jan. 26 to support Operation Warm Heart, a customer-funded program that helps households in financial crisis pay heating bills. The timed 10k run and 5k walk/run starts and finishes at Clark Public Utilities, 1200 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. The 16-mile bike ride takes off at 9 a.m. from Hudson’s Bay High School and follows an out-and-back route to Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park. Bike ride registration includes secure bike check services following the ride. A free race for children kicks off the event at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $40 and includes a long-sleeve performance shirt and race bag. Register online through midnight on Jan. 25 at www.clarkpublicutilities.com/raceforwarmth. Same-day registration is 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. and costs $50.
