Fundraising for “The Divergent Gift; Unboxing Autism”

“The Divergent Gift; Unboxing Autism” is a documentary film that combines stories and experiences of individuals on the autism spectrum, with animated visuals that bring those experiences to life on screen. The goal is to make a film by the neurodivergent and autistic community. Attend a fundraising dinner for the film at 6 p.m. Feb. 2 at Portland Community College, S.W. 49th Ave., Portland. The program will feature behind-the-scenes footage of the trip to the UK, a sneak peak at some interview footage with visuals and animations, and a live panel discussion with interview subjects. Donations are 100% tax deductible and donors’ names will be added to the film’s credits.
