Heart’s Nancy Wilson performs free show at ilani

Nancy Wilson, from the multi-platinum rock group Heart, will perform a free show at ilani‘s Muze Lounge, 1 Cowlitz Way, Ridgefield, at 8 p.m. Oct. 1.

With her sister, Ann, Wilson leads the multi-platinum rock group Heart, which has sold upwards of 35 million albums. Wilson is revered as an ingenious guitar player and as a gifted lead vocalist. During an era in which females in rock ‘n’ roll were scarce, Wilson helped carve out a place for women to front rock bands and dominate on stage. Her icon status was cemented in music history with Heart’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
