Riverside Apple Festival

Riverside Christian School, 463 N. Shepherd Rd., Washougal, will host its annual Apple Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12. Enjoy homemade apple dumplings and other apple foods, horse rides and games for all ages. Browse the vendor market, join the pie-eating contest, and buy a wide variety of apples by the pound at discounted prices. Admission is free but games, activities and food must be purchased; proceeds benefit Riverside Christian School. Park at the Camas/Washougal Skate Park, 2902 N.E. 3rd Ave., Camas, and take a free shuttle to the festival.
