Show and Shine Car Show

The Slo Poks car club will host the Uptown Village Show and Shine car show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 20 on North Main Street in Vancouver’s Uptown Village neighborhood; enter on the corner of McLoughlin and Main. The cost is $15 to register a car, plus a donation of school supplies. The show is open to all hot rods, custom cars, motorcycles, rat rods and collector cars. Trophies will be awarded. After enjoying the cars at the Show and Shine, head over to the Hough Foundation’s other fundraiser, the Sip & Stroll, where you can purchase specialty drinks and cocktails from many Uptown Village businesses from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person, available at houghfoundation.org/sip-and-stroll/. Proceeds will be donated to the Hough Foundation to help local schoolkids.
