Summer Story Fest

Outlet PDX zine print shop and library and Honeyed Words, a queer bookstore located inside Sonny’s House of Tattoos and Treasures, will host Summer Story Fest from noon to 5 on June 24 and 25 at the New New Crusher Court, 2450 N.E. Sandy Blvd., Portland. The event features 25 zinesters, authors and other storytellers throughout the venue. See the Zine Bike — a mobile zine library full of zines and comics for all — and take the summer reading challenge for prizes. Enjoy pop-up readings and signings by award-winning authors Aiden Thomas, Emeric L. Kennard, Neil Cochrane, Zaji Cox and Karina Agbisit. Attend the after-party on June 24 hosted by the Comics Club with readings by indie cartoonists M. Sabine Rear, Cam McCafferty, Diddly Marsh, and Lindsey Danae Perez.
