Windhaven Ride for Veterans

The Windhaven Ride for Veterans is an escorted motorcycle, classic car and hot rod ride starting at ilani Casino Resort, 1 Cowlitz Way, Ridgefield, and ending at Territorial Days Park, 21400 N.E. 399th St., Amboy. The event is hosted by the American Legion Tum Tum Post 168. Proceeds support the Windhaven Veterans Program, which provides equine-assisted therapy to veterans with PTSD free of charge.

There’s a minimum donation of $5 to participate. Registration, check-in and raffles begin at 7 a.m. with opening ceremonies at 9 a.m., followed by “kickstands up” at 11 a.m. The Windhaven Veterans Program will give a live demonstration at Territorial Days Park at noon.
