
Clark College Korean Culture Club will host an Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration from 3 to 9 p.m. May 30 in Gaiser Hall. Admission is free and the public is welcome. This event will highlight the cultures of Korea, Vietnam, Japan and the Pacific Islands through music, dance, food and storytelling. Highlights include a self-defense seminar with Leslie “Warrior” Lew; keynote speakers including Lew and Michael Tuncap, former director of the Pacific Islander Student Commission at University of Washington Seattle; a performance by Victorious, an award-winning Seattle dance group; and local vendors like Short & Sweet boba and bahn mi, Rocks by Irie Designz and Jami K-Pop Cafe. Admission is free.
