Community Block Party and Resource Fair

The Community Block Party and Resource Fair is a free outreach event from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 11 at Open House Ministries, 900 W. 12th St. Vancouver, which will include a free barbecue lunch, free ice cream treats, a free preventative pet care clinic by The Humane Society of Southwest Washington and a free health and wellness clinic by New Heights Clinic. Community partners will be on site to share ways their organizations can help those who need assistance. Attendees can also enjoy games, a dunk tank and a fashion show by Secondhand Solutions Thrift Store along with music provided by WayFM.
