Paddle for Life Dragon Boat Festival

Join the crowds of spectators to watch hundreds of paddlers in fierce competition at the Paddle for Life Dragon Boat Festival, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Lake River Ridgefield Kayak Launch, 109 W. Division St., Ridgefield. This is the only dragon boat festival in Southwest Washington and the exciting races are won by mere inches. Proceeds raised during this year’s Paddle for Life dragon boat races will support Clark County’s only dragon boat team, Catch-22, in its efforts to create a breast cancer survivor’s paddling community.
