Marine Park Ivy Pull

Vancouver’s Water Resources Education Center seeks volunteers to pull invasive English ivy at Marine Park, 4501 S.E. Columbia Way, Vancouver, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 5. Volunteer will cut cut ivy from tree trunks, bend over to pull ivy free from the soil and shovel and spread bark mulch. Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided. Ivy pulling will take place primarily off the main walkway; the terrain will be uneven and slightly sloped. The event will occur, rain or shine.
