Metropolitan Performing Arts presents free outdoor theater series

Metropolitan Performing Arts presents a free outdoor theater series from July 16-Aug. 14 featuring an abridged and modernized version of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.” Shows are performed in different outdoor locations around Vancouver. Admission is free. Bring a blanket, lawn chair and picnic dinner. All performances are at 6 p.m. Here are the locations and dates:

• Metropolitan Performing Arts, 6403 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver
  July 16, 17, 30 and 31
• Mended Oak Winery, 10209 N.E. 299th St., Battle Ground
  “Shakespeare at the Winery” event with live music, food trucks and local artists
  Aug. 6 and 7
• La Uva Fortuna, 16712 N.E. 219th St., Battle Ground
  Aug. 13 and 14
