Friends of Vancouver Community Library host Art4Art Fundraiser

The Friends of the Vancouver Community Library is hosting a fundraiser called Art4Art from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. First Friday, Aug. 5, on the south lawn of the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., Vancouver. Original art panels are priced at $30 each and will be sold first come, first served. There will be two food trucks parked in front of the library, Mighty Bowl and Kona Ice, and live music will be provided by local guitarist John Van Beek of Music We Remember.

An artist preview will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 2. The panels will be already mounted on grids and guests can talk to artists about their panels or how the pandemic affected their work.
