MESO Makers’ Market Features Black-owned Businesses

Celebrate Black History Month by shopping at the MESO Makers’ Market featuring 40 Black-owned small businesses selling artisan wares and good. The market at Alberta Commons, 376 N.E. Sumner St., Portland, will run Feb. 17-19 and Feb. 24-26. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission to the market is free. Purchase a variety of products, including beauty, body and hair care items; jewelry; art; and apparel, as well as affordable chair massages. This family-oriented event is open to all ages.
