Visit Santa aboard the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad‘s Christmas Special Trains, weekend excursions featuring three diesel runs each Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 through Dec. 10. The 1941, ALCO S2 departs at 9:30 a.m., noon, and 2:30 pm. each day from the station in Yacolt. See views of the Lewis River atop a hill-side vantage point then return to Moulton Station. At the station stop, enjoy warm cider and cocoa and hot coffee. Santa will have a gift for each child. Ugly Christmas sweaters encouraged. Get tickets ($16 to $22) at tickets.bycx.org.
