Camas Parks & Recreation and the Camas Public Library are combining s’mores and stories on July 29 for a free storytime under the stars, designed for children ages 12 and under and an accompanying adult. Roast marshmallows and make s’mores at Crown Park, 120 N.E. 17th Ave., beginning at 8:15 p.m., followed by story time at 9 p.m. The event will be held adjacent to the covered shelter.
Wear pajamas and bring blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, or whatever you need to keep cozy for the hour. Kids of all ages are welcome, but stories will cater to ages 12 and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. S’mores will be available to the first 200 attendees, or while supplies last. Dogs and other animals are not allowed in Crown Park.
