CouveCon Pop Culture Event at Vancouver Mall

Vancouver Mall, 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Vancouver, will host CouveCon from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 17, a multi-genre entertainment event celebrating pop culture icons and experiences with cosplay costume competitions to photographs, artwork, autographs and other fan-based memorabilia. Admission is free but panels and guest meet-and-greets require a ticket. Features include:

• Cosplay contests are $10 per person to enter
• Cosplay Central admission is $25, where cosplayers showcase their talents
• Artist Alley featuring artwork and commissions, sculptures, jewelry, pins and buttons
• Vendor Village selling toys, collectibles, games, DVDs, books, apparel, and cosplay items or services
• Games Galaxy: Compete for prizes in gaming tournaments or try new games
• Panel discussions and meet-and-greets are $10
• Autographs and photo opp prices vary
