The Clark College Treble Ensemble and Clark College Chorale present their Fall Concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at First United Methodist Church, 401 E. 33rd St., Vancouver. Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. Donations to the Clark College Choral Fund are accepted at the door.
The treble ensemble will perform in French, English and German in a program of varied time periods and styles. “Children, Go Where I Send Thee” is on the program, as is a new piece by Daniel Brinsmead, “Moon Flight.”
The chorale will perform works by Felix Mendelssohn, Willam Dawson, Nathaniel Adams, John Leavitt and Elaine Hagenburg. Audiences will hear Hebrew, English, German and Latin. Adams’ piece “Lux Brumalis” is the centerpiece of the program—a multimovement work for choir and piano.
