BassFitz hosts “Nothin’ but the Blues” Course

BassFitz presents a six week “Nothin’ but the Blues” workshop series from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. starting March 7 and continuing every Tuesday through April 11 at Sons of Norway Lodge, 2400 Grant Street, Vancouver. Three instructors will teach students the Nashville numbering system in order to change song keys effortlessly. Students should have a basic knowledge of simple blues forms or progressions. A cooperative learning environment is encouraged to share experience and expertise. Class is designed for intermediate level musicians. Suggested instruments to bring are guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, vocals, harmonica, drums and violin.
