Clark County Quilters will host its monthly guild meeting at Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 W. 39th St., Vancouver, from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 9. Meetings will now be held in-person as well as virtually over Zoom. The February meeting features David Owen Hastings joining by Zoom for a presentation: “Minimal Design Maximum Impact.” Hastings will share his process for creating simple quilt designs, translating an architectural photo into a quilt, walking foot quilting, and how to break free from “stitch in the ditch.” Following the presentation, there will be a brief business meeting and “show and tell” by guild members. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a social hour and the presentation begins at 7 p.m. For more information and the zoom link to attend virtually, contact ccq-info@clarkcountyquilters.com.
