Corrections Officer Career Open House

Clark County Jail Services and Human Resources staff will hold an information open house for individuals interested in a career as a corrections officer.

The open house will be in the sixth-floor hearing room in the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., starting at 7 p.m. April 19. The event begins at 7 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited, and reservations are required by sending an email to DLCntyJailServicesRecruiting@clark.wa.gov.

The open house provides an opportunity to learn about the job and the hiring process including:

• Preparing for the Public Safety Test
• Training for the physical ability test
• Completing the background information in a timely manner
• Preparation tips for the final selection interview
• What to expect on post-offer exams
• Academy and training process
