The Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair will celebrate its 20th year from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9 at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver at the corner of Sixth and Columbia Streets. This free festival showcases nonprofit agencies, churches, charities, volunteers and activists who are working to make Clark County better. Attendees will enjoy diverse community performers and activities for children and families.
Learn more about groups that are working on hunger, homelessness, LBGTQ rights and inclusion, climate change and animal welfare. Converse with with Peace and Justice Hero Reenactors portraying Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Harriet Tubman. On the main stage, see the Traveling Day Society, Satori Choral, Talisman Strings and other musicians and singers, emceed by Clark County Poet Laureate Armin Tolentino. Pick up a Passport to Peace at the fair’s information table and get it stamped by five exhibitors to win a prize for adults or children.
