Clark County Quilters October Guild Meeting

Clark County Quilters will meet at from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 W. 39th St., Vancouver. The meetings are also available to attend via Zoom; email ccq-info@clarkcountyquilters.com for the link. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., Brenda Gael Smith will present “Driven to Abstraction” via Zoom, sharing her improvisational quilt methods and design process. Smith creates textile works from a palette of hand-dyed fabrics complemented by stitching. Colors and patterns of the natural world are inspired by her surroundings in Australia and her New Zealand homeland.
