NatureScaping Plant Propagation Workshop

NatureScaping Wildlife Botanical Gardens will host a Plant Propagation workshop at the CASEE Center, located at 11104 N.E. 149th St. in Brush Prairie, from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 21.

Class will be presented by NatureScaping coordinator and master gardener, Julie Carlsen.

Attendees will learn plant propagation timing and techniques to add plants to their personal gardens of share with others. Discussion will include the various methods of propagation form seed starting, stem cuttings, and perennial plant division. There will also be a demonstration which will feature stem cuttings and perennial division using the root systems a s a guide as to when and how perennials should be divided.

Class will be held in the CASEE Center, Building B Room 205. Cost if free for NatureScaping members and $15 for non-members.
