John Cleese will appear at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland at 7:30 p.m. April 3 as part of his “Last Time to See Me Before I Die” tour. This evening with the nearly late Cleese features comedy, conversation and new routines shaped by his impeccable timing, trademark eccentricity and clever wordplay. The (barely) living comedy legend is best known as co-founder of Monty Python, and is celebrated for his work on “Monty Python’s Flying Circus,” “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” “Life of Brian,” “Fawlty Towers” and “A Fish Called Wanda” as well as the James Bond and Harry Potter franchises. The show is recommended for ages 13 and over. Tickets ($60 to $300) are available at portland5.com. VIP tickets include a chance to meet Cleese.
