The Fort Vancouver Rose Society will hold its 69th Annual Rose Show, “Spotlight on Roses,” from 1 to 4 p.m. June 29 in the large gymnasium at the First Evangelical Church, 4120 N.E. St. Johns Road, Vancouver. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will find juried exhibits of Northwest-grown roses including hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, old garden and shrub roses, climbers, miniatures and mini-floras. Arrangements of large and miniature roses will also be on display as well as a juried photography show. Entries from all rose growers will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Five-by-seven photographs should be mailed by June 27 to Kathy Fry, 13108 N.E. 22nd St., Vancouver, Wash., 98684, or entered by 8 a.m. on the day of the show.
