The welding program at Clark College is hosting SteelDays, a welding competition for local high school students beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18 in the college welding labs, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Building AA2, Vancouver. The free event is open to the public. No registration is required. Welding students from Battle Ground High School, Prairie High School, Fort Vancouver High School and Kelso High School will compete in this event designed to showcase the welding and fabrication industry and to shine a light on the next generation of tradespeople. Industry information booths and food carts will be set up in the college’s Orange 2 parking lot accessed from East Reserve. See a campus map here.
