Vancouver Audubon Society Monthly Meeting – Western Screech Owls

April 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

free

The next meeting of the Vancouver Audubon Society is 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 4. Speaker Toby St. Claire will talk about research he helped conduct on Western screech owls on Vancouver Island and southern British Columbia. They found that Western screech owls were disappearing from valley bottom riparian habitats but were still present in old-growth dominated forests.
St. Clair is a wildlife biologist with 15 years of experience in research and applied biology and the co-founder of the Pacific Megascops Research Alliance. Learn more at vancouveraudubon.org.
