Autumn Pumpkins Clay Workshop at Kilnfolk

Celebrate the season with a pumpkin-making workshop at Kilnfolk Clay Studio, 108 W. Sixth St., Vancouver. Students will create their own ceramic pumpkins using the pinch pot method. No experience is necessary. Family-friendly workshops are for adults and children over age five (with parent help). Workshops are $55 per person, including an hour and a half of guided instruction, and one single-color glazed and fired ceramic pumpkin to be picked up a few weeks after the workshop. Attendees should dress comfortably and be prepared to get dirty. Three workshops are offered: from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sept. 15, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 21 or 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
