Battle Ground High School presents “Wonderland”

The Battle Ground High School drama club presents “Wonderland: Alice’s Rock and Roll Adventure,” a retelling of Lewis Carroll’s classic tales based on a book by Rachel Rockwell, with shows at 7 p.m. May 11-13 and 18-20. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground. Shows are inside “The Lair” auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person, available at the door (cash only) or online in advance. There will be sign language interpretation available for the show on May 18. Runtime is about 90 minutes with a 12-minute intermission. In a nod to Alice’s dreamscape, the entire production will be done without blackouts for scene changes. The scenes will change right before the audience’s eyes, much in the same way scenes change in dreams.
