Beginning Guitar Workshop for Adults

Beacock Music, 1420 S.E. 163rd Ave., Vancouver, is offering beginning guitar workshops for ages 12 and up from noon to 1 p.m. July 1, 8, 15 or 22. Students will be introduced to guitar fundamentals, including instrument parts and terminology, care, tuning and how to practice. Different styles of playing will be demonstrated as well as suggestions on how to play with singers. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to play their first song. The Hal Leonard Guitar Method book will be provided but students should bring their own guitars. The cost is $30 per class and includes the book.
