Birding Field Trip at Whitaker Ponds

TreeSong Nature Awareness Center is offering a birding field trip, “Slow Birding: Spring Migration at Whitaker Ponds” with Rae Snyder at 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. May 21 at Whitaker Ponds, 7040 N.E. 47th Ave., Portland. Participants will enjoy a slow, gentle 1/2-mile loop in this  oasis surrounded by industrial NE Portland. Migration is in full swing and a relaxed pace will allow participants to be mindful, listen intently to birdsong and catch a glimpse of their daily lives.
