Black Nativity at Brunish Theatre

PassinArt Theatre Company presents “Black Nativity” by Langston Hughes, playing Dec. 1-4 at the Brunish Theatre inside Antoinette Hatfield Hall at 1111 S.W. Broadway, Portland. Based on the traditional Nativity story, the spirit-filled, inspiring gospel song play features traditional Christmas carols performed in a gospel style with a few new songs specifically for the show. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 and 2 and 3 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4. Adult tickets are $30. Seniors and students are $20. Children ages 5 to 12 years are $15. Groups of five or more are $20 per person.
