“Brews for New Avenues” Rare Beer Auction

“Brews for New Avenues” is the world’s largest rare beer auction, with proceeds going to the nonprofit New Avenues for Youth to help end youth homelessness. The event will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Aug. 27 at The Redd on Salmon Street, 831 S.E. Salmon St., Portland. VIP entrance ($100 to $150) is from 1 to 4 p.m. and general admission entrance ($40) is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available at newavenues.ejoinme.org/2022ga.

Brews for New Avenues features a silent auction, a live auction of rare and large format bottles, a food truck area featuring Pidgin Hole and Alchemy Sandwich Co, live music from Hans & the Wanted, craft beer from more than 50 breweries, and outdoor games headlined by Pound Disc Golf. Attendees will also be able to purchase mystery bottles from the Wall of Beer, as well as special limited releases from brewers such as Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, Block 15, de Garde and The Referend. VIP tickets include special pours and a silent auction with hard-to-find bottles.
