Cappella Romana presents “A Ukrainian Wedding” at 8 p.m. May 20 at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1716 N.W. Davis St., Portland. Tickets range from $15 to $50, available at cappellaromana.org. Ukrainian American ethnomusicologist, folklorist, and singer Nadia Tarnawsky leads the women of Cappella Romana in village folk songs, sacred chants, and choral works for a Ukrainian wedding. She collected many of these songs in field work in Ukraine before the war.
