Chelatchie Prairie Railroad offers Christmas Special Train Rides

The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad will offer Christmas Special Train Rides every Saturday and Sunday from Nov. 26 to Dec. 18 at 9:30 a.m., noon and 2:30 p.m. Trains depart from the station at 207 Railroad Ave., Yacolt; passengers should arrive early for boarding. Tickets are $18 for adults, $17 for military or seniors age 60 and older and $12 for children age 3 to 12. Please note: trees will not be offered for sale this year, though the railroad is hosting an Ugly Sweater Contest. Dress in your worst (inoffensive) holiday attire and the popular favorite wins.
