Chelatchie Prairie Railroad offers Patriot’s Weekend Diesel Train Rides

The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad is offering Patriot’s Weekend Train Rides at noon and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 13, departing from the station at 207 N. Railroad Ave., Yacolt. Tickets are $18 for adults, $17 for seniors and $12 for ages 3 to 12. To purchase tickets, visit tickets.bycx.org.
The 1941 Alco diesel engine will chug out of the Yacolt station with most riders snug inside one of two cabooses or the coach car. It will travel through the 330 foot solid rock tunnel, to the Heisson area with a stop at Moulton Station to visit Yacolt Falls.
