Clark College Concert Choir Winter Concert

The Clark College Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jacob Funk and accompanied by Dr. Jeongmi Yoon, present their winter concert twice, at 7:30 p.m. March 7 and 11 at at First United Methodist Church, 401 E. 33rd St., Vancouver. Admission is free. Donations to the Clark College Choral Fund will be accepted at the door.

The choir begins with “Sicut Lilium” by French Renaissance composer Antoine Brumel. Then the choir moves on to the Lauridsen piece “Dirait-on,” followed by Alec Powell’s “In Love with You” and Barnum’s “The Stars Stand Up in the Air.” The concludes with “The Sun Never Says” by Dan Forrest, featuring Ashley Peck on cello, and Susan Labarr’s “We Remember Them.”

The concert choir presents this program on March 7 alongside the touring Vandaleers from the University of Idaho, directed by Dr. David Klement, and on March 11 as a stand-alone concert.
